Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I work as a collaborative partner where your voice and perspectives are valued. In our sessions, your resources and capacity for change are highlighted. I offer coping skills and education to empower you while providing plenty of space for personal processing. In our sessions, you will see measurable changes in your life. I keep my caseload small to give you the care and attention you deserve.
I have a special interest in those who are exploring a healthier relationship with alcohol, those who identify as “highly sensitive” or anxious, and those impacted by trauma.
As a dual licensed therapist and addictions counselor, I use an eclectic blend of evidenced-based therapy approaches to create a space where you are free to explore your authentic self.
I have specific training in IFS, Somatic therapy, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques. I have spent more than nearly 20 years in the mental health field.
In my free time, I’m a lifelong learner who loves focusing on health and wellness. I enjoy biking, immersing myself in nature, hitting the gym, diving into book clubs, and spending quality time with my family and pets. Art and music are also passions of mine, bringing inspiration and balance to my life.
