Work HistoryOver the past 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals from all walks of life who were facing a wide range of emotional and life challenges. Much of my experience has focused on helping people who have gone through traumatic events—whether recently or in the past—and are struggling with the emotional impact of those experiences. I’ve also worked closely with people navigating grief and loss, as well as those dealing with depression, anxiety, or major life transitions, like relationship changes, career shifts, or health-related concerns. Through this work, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how trauma and loss can affect someone’s sense of self, their relationships, and their overall well-being. I’ve also come to understand how important it is to create a space where people feel safe, heard, and supported as they work through difficult emotions and experiences. Over the years, I’ve received training in several therapeutic approaches—including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)—as well as grief therapy using William Worden’s model. These tools allow me to tailor therapy to fit each individual’s unique needs and goals. I also draw from psychodynamic theory, which helps us explore how past experiences might be influencing current patterns in thoughts, feelings, or relationships. More than anything, my work has taught me the strength and resilience people carry within them—even during their most painful or uncertain times. My goal in therapy is always to support clients in finding relief, clarity, and a stronger sense of inner peace as they move forward in their lives.
