Work HistoryOriginally trained as a psychologist (Ph.D. from Cornell University, ’79; internship in Family Medicine at Worcester State Hospital), Dr. Ransen has mastered numerous areas of individual and family psychology and human development during his 45-year career. He earned a specialized graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, the only nationally accredited program in all of Florida. He is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Florida.
He has taught psychology at Princeton University, Tulane University, Cornell University, and Harvard Medical School.
