Binge eating disorder
Entails recurrent episodes of eating to the point of excess, even when feeling full and uncomfortable. Feelings of shame and guilt oftentimes occur after each episode, leading toward emotional distress. There are serious physical health implications as well.
Sleep & insomnia issues
Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking frequently. While it can be a normal response to stress, it can also lead to feelings of dissatisfaction and distress, as well as behavioral difficulties.
Panic attacks & panic disorder
Panic attacks are acute conditions in which one experiences an intense bout of anxiety out of seemingly nowhere. This oftentimes stems from a perceived rather than actual threat. Symptoms may include heart palpitations, sweating, trembling, and shortness of breath. Panic disorder involves regular frequency of panic attacks (two or more) with a fear of experiencing more in the future.
Trauma
Trauma is the result of experiencing a perceived, extremely distressful event. Although the stress threshold for each person differs, meaning that each person considers and experiences trauma differently, it is an event that tops one’s threshold. It exceeds one’s ability to cope or emotionally process. Symptoms may include shock, anxiety, confusion, hopelessness, feeling disconnected, mood swings, nightmares, and intrusive thoughts.

Chronic pain
Any kind of pain that lasts three months or more. Can range from mild to severely debilitating and affect a person’s quality of life, sometimes leading to depression, anxiety, isolation, and insomnia.
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
Obsessive compulsive disorder entails a distressful pattern of recurrent thoughts and repetitive behaviors. Obsessions are oftentimes unreasonable thoughts and fears that plague one’s mind to the point of compensatory behavior. This occurs despite logically recognizing the problem. The cycle is seemingly endless and instils feelings of hopelessness/helplessness. Severity of the condition varies but tends to begin gradually, becoming more intense under stress.
Stress
Distress stems from a subjective perception of something being unwanted, undesirable, or detrimental to your wellbeing. Excessive stress significantly impairs mental and physical health and is associated with many diseases and conditions.

Winner of numerous awards including Top 100 Moms in Business, Dr. Liz almost always worked for herself in one business or another. She sold her award winning business, Yogafairy Prenatal Yoga, in 2016 to concentrate on expanding her private practice that provides psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and hypnosis to people wanting a fast, easy way to transform. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has certification in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy as a Certified Professional Hypnotist, as well as numerous other specialty area certifications.
