What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

I am a curious person who loves helping others. The ways our minds work and how to thrive in life are topics I'm constantly interested in exploring. I have a background in both psychology and studio art, and Art Therapy was the perfect entrance into this field. In the past 10+ years, I've followed my interests in CBT and Mindfulness to lead me to a practice that I feel like is a very practical approach to therapy - where clients can take actionable steps and see real results.

In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?

My personality is approachable and compassionate. I'm active in conversations & invested in your progress.

Work History

If you are struggling with anxiety, going through a difficult life-transitions/adjustment, if you're having relationship issues, or struggling through low mood and low esteem - I can help. We can work together to understand and manage anxious thoughts and intense feelings, while building confidence, managing overwhelm, and taking actions to make noticeable improvements that lead to a more calm, confident, and fulfilling life. I also often work with clients who are looking to work through codependency in relationships, as well as those who struggle setting boundaries and communicating effectively. I'm a licensed therapist in NY State with over a decade of clinical experience helping clients break free from negative patterns to create a life they love. When working with clients, I Incorporate my interests in CBT and mindfulness, as well as my training as an Art Therapist (LCAT, ATR-BC) and my certification in yoga (RYT-200). I'm also a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider and who understands your need for scheduling flexibility. I work with NY State Residents virtually through convenient tele-therapy sessions by HIPAA secure video or phone. There's no need for long commutes for office visits, I can meet you where you are most comfortable. Throughout my work, I’ve seen so many clients change their lives in meaningful ways - beyond what they first thought possible. It’s a collaborative process, and it’s an honor for me to get to do this work. I look forward to meeting you!
