What does a first session with you look like?
As I serve my clients with Integrity and great value by putting them first when it comes to Mental Health. The first process is to create Treatment Plan as I must complete an Assessment with the clients to better understand their goals, and to become a good fit for the client.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My vision is to keep individuals structured, focused, motivated, encouraged, assembled and uphold a treatment plan that will enable them to achieve their purpose by attaining a "SOLUTION FOCUS" that is based on the client's needs.
What impact did the scope and/or focus of your education have on your current work as a therapist?
The many areas that I have worked under the umbrella of mental health management include: Behavioral problem, at risk-youth, Bipolar, self-harm, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse and anger management. Over the years, I have had substantial success with providing counseling to clients with mood disorders, and victims of domestic abuse and troubled relationships, which has expanded my horizons immensely; I have worked with both victims and abusers which has given me a keen insight into handling such situations by analyzing all angles. I have worked with the LGBT Community, Married Couples & Couples who are facing difficulty in their relationships, Crisis intervention, Bipolar, Major depressives disorder, Schizophrenia, Suicidal ideation clients, Anger problem, Anxiety issues, and much more.
