What does a first session with you look like?

A first session with me entails getting to know one another, having you ask any questions that you may have, and building a good foundation of trust, understanding and support. I have a very non-judgmental approach, and am open to anything and everything that you feel I should know.

If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?

I really like the book “change your mind, change your life.” I think the key to wanting to feel better, happier and for things to change, all starts with your mindset and having a different outlook.

What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?

I feel that we are in this together, and work aside one another as I team. I am here along your journey with you, to help support and guide you. Trust, understanding, support, empathy and caring are all key parts of that relationship that we will have together.
