Work HistoryAfter the lockdown period of the Covid pandemic, I made the decision to end my twenty-year career as a public school counselor. I gained a tremendous amount of experience in that role, and I was able to expand my work in the areas of expertise I had developed. I am passionate about working with individuals experiencing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, and the entire rainbow of LGBTQ+ identities and experiences. My school work also increased my effectiveness in supporting parents and families undergoing change and challenge.
Prior to my career as a school counselor, I spent five years as a therapist in the field of domestic violence and three years as a foster care social worker. My professional interests have always centered around helping people through normal and atypical life experiences.
