What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
You can expect me to whole-heartedly to listen, support and empower you during our time together. I like to crack jokes and my approach is unconventional. We might pull some tarot cards or try something you have never done before.
How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
I tell all my clients that they are expert on their lives. I come from a place of curiosity. We will have a conversation about what you want to achieve during our time together and then craft goals.
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
I am a person with my own wacky thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Therapists are not immune from life's battles. I had a mentor once that said every therapist should be in therapy. I firmly believe that therapy has been super helpful in my own development as a person and therapist.
