Work HistoryI earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Purdue University and my Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University. I am licensed by the State of Illinois as a clinical social worker (LCSW). My career passion has always focused on the field of addictions and mental health. I have been working in the addiction and mental health field for over 29 years and have extensive experience in residential, outpatient, drug courts, and inpatient hospital settings where I worked in the intake department and in the emergency room doing evaluations. I also have a strong background in building and implementing programs to help individuals and their families struggling with addiction in the family. I utilize motivational interviewing and cognitive- behavioral therapy to help you identify your strengths and achieve your goals.
