Accepting New Clients

Get To Know Me
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
Engaging in the therapeutic process can often make an individual insecure, perhaps even afraid. If we do not allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we do not allow ourselves to grow.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Primarily I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the theory allows the client to work on their identified therapeutic goals in between sessions. Additionally, I engage in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as it introduces the clients to emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I will never force an individual to discuss that which they are not mentally willing to acknowledge. Rather, I view therapy as walking with the client through their journey as opposed to walking in front or in back of them.
