I am not your typical therapist: - I engage my clients in dialogue (I do not sit there and say “hmm hmm.”) - I am authentic, so my language at times can be as colorful and expressive as your own - My clients describe me as warm, personable, and friendly
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
My philosophy is to teach people the tools and skills they need so that they can move forward in life and no longer need my services. And hey… if you're going through a rough patch two years from now, call me. Gone are the days of Dr. Freud – where you are in therapy for the rest of your life. This is simply unrealistic to me. My goal is to teach you adaptive coping skills to use independently throughout your life, so that you no longer need my services.
