What does a first session with you look like?
The first time with a client is the start point for a relationship, is where the rapport starts to build and where I as therapist provide the first glance of non judgmental emotional support allowing the client to feel safe and secure to be able to be vulnerable and open up about the reasons for seeking therapy.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My therapeutic approach is humanistic, strength based, mindfulness oriented. I tailor every session to the client's needs.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Since been a young child I've always felt the need to help others, and growing up this need became stronger, and I found my personal path to be a helper, a support, a guide to others seeking to heal from all types of life wounds

Two years of customer service experience working in Hospitality. One year working as therapist intern in a non profit organization providing trauma focused therapy at Mujer.Inc where I was able to provide therapy to clients that have been through diverse traumatic events. Three years of experience working as Human Services Counselor for employees with mental and physical disabilities at Goodwill.Inc. Three years as Outpatient Therapist at Community Recovery and Wellness Center where I've had the opportunity to help clients going through depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, experiencing loss and grief.
