How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?

People are complex and must be treated as a whole person with respect. Through relationship building we can get an idea what you are struggling with and what you would like to acccomplish. I provide an assessment and meet you where you are at. From there, we will develop a treatment plan to deteremine your goals. I will support and guide you throughout the process.

Are there any recurring themes or issues you’ve noticed as you treat people in your area of specialization, and how has this insight guided your approach?

Isolation due to COVID. Anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem and trauma in addition to many others. I have done extensive practice and research to help people heal.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

My style is warm and empowering. I primarily use the humanistic approach combined with CBT, DBT and EMDR if appropriate. I meet you where you are at. I guide and support you through the process to help you in the healing process or determine a solution.
