How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
As a therapist, I determine therapy goals with clients by having each client complete a therapy goals questionnaire. The process consist of a series of questions that will be completed during the assessment process. This process will determine (1) Therapy goal(s) (2) Objectives and (3) Intervention(s)
What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?
The biggest barrier today for people seeking care is the stigma pertaining to mental health treatment.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia with over 9 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, self-esteem, and anger management. I also helped many people who have experienced domestic or emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, career counseling, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling.
