Work HistoryI am a Marriage Counselor and a Trauma Therapist in Dallas, TX. I hold a dual license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) and in Chemical Dependency Counseling (LCDC). I have experience of working with adults in the crisis residential and inpatient settings. I received specialized training in working with couples and individuals at the Department of Psychiatry's Family Studies Center at UT Southwestern.
I LOVE working with millennial couples. I’m comfortable working with some of the toughest situations life may have dealt you. Grief and loss is one of my specialties; I want to walk with you through the most challenging path you’ve been on and help you make it out strong to the other side.
Working from an attachment perspective, my focus is on helping you achieve a secure connection with you partner. I have specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, the most cutting-edge, proven, and tested model to help couples resolve conflicts, strengthen their bonds, and better their communication skills. 95% of couples who experience EFT report significant improvements in their relationship.
In addition to being a marriage counselor, I am a trauma therapist. I LOVE helping millennials heal from their past traumatic relationships. I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful approach to treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
