What does a first session with you look like?

A first session with me focuses on building rapport. I will explore what you want to get out of therapy and together will we develop goals that best fit your desired outcome from therapy.

What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?

The biggest barrier for seeking care is yourself. You have to be willing to work past any stigma related to mental health and reaching out for support, and you also have to make your self-care and growth a priority.

If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?

Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, or an addiction you should know that there is hope.
