What is your style/approach to therapy?
I never decide what approach to take towards the client in the very beginning. I always let the clients needs take precedent and do not try to fit the clients need into any one type of therapy.
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
The purpose of seeing a therapist is to get to the root what is bothering the patient. I am an independent, non-judgemental, neutral therapist.

Work History
I have been practicing psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for almost 20 years. I've practiced at two New York hospitals Beth Israel Medical Center and Long Island Jewish. During my time at the Long Island Jewish Hospital I performed extensive Schizophrenia research with the Feinstein Institute and held a private practice through The Washington Square Institute. The focus of my recent work has been with both adult individuals and couples therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety, relationships and phobias.
