Are there any recurring themes or issues you’ve noticed as you treat people in your area of specialization, and how has this insight guided your approach?
A common theme is anxiety and depression. This has inspired me to focus on the present and then address and put away issues of the past.
How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
Therapy goals are centered on what the client feels is most pressing. This is something that I process along with the client and check in weekly to determine the progress on these goals. They are revised as needed based on these check-ins.
