In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality is very accepting of all types of people and I value every person's right to their own views. I support every client in what they want to accomplish in therapy and in their life.
If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?
I view therapy as a learning experience for my clients. I see myself as a teacher with access to a multitude of interventions and options to use to assist the client in resolving issues. I enjoy this process and feel the techniques I can provide to clients can be used throughout their lives and in many situations.
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
I have many personal experiences that I share with my clients. I feel what I have been through in my life and learned from, I can share with others when appropriate. I also believe it helps clients to know others feel and have experienced similar things in their life.
