In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I am very easy-going. I try to bring that same relaxed, stress-less vibe into my therapy space. This is particularly important for my clients with anxiety. Therapy should not contribute to stress, even if it is challenging.

I often collaborate with medical providers and/or recovery counselors to provide continuity of care.
How has your particular field of specialization evolved in recent years and how has that impacted your work?
In recent years, I have learned to treat people with substance abuse and addiction. I have always been competent at treating depression and anxiety and I have found that depression and anxiety are almost always at the root of addiction. So, my addiction work still heavily involves the treatment of depression and anxiety.
