What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?

The biggest stigma facing people seeking care is this fear of being labeled as crazy. It is healthy to ask for help. It is actually very mature to do so.

If there was one thing you wish people knew about the therapy experience who might be hesitant to try it, what would that be?

Therapy puts you in control of your mental health. As a Therapist, I will never ask you explore any issue you are not ready to explore. I will always ask you permission and you will always be in control as to where we go.

What excites you most about the evolving mental health landscape?

I am excited by the fact that, with Telehealth, more people can obtain mental health services from the comfort of their home with complete anonymity .
