I like to be myself which makes it possible for the people I work with to be themselves!
First and foremost I like to establish repoire with the people I work with. I then establish goals usually in the first session, and clarify within the next session.
My approach to therapy is the notion that people have the answers, but there are stressors, fears, other blocks to having the access to those answers they seek to have.

Hello I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently licensed in the state of Georgia. I have been in practice in this profession since 2014. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting concerns, PTSD, OCD, anger and stress management, and addictions (just to name a few). I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. Modes of therapy include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, motivational interviewing, etc. My counseling style is warm and interactive, matching the pace of my client. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels; We are not labels, we are human! My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our time together and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
