My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. 1.-You have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help. 2.- I'm sorry you are having a tough time right now, but I'm really glad you are reaching out. I'd like to help you work on the struggles you are facing; and offer you a safe place to explore your goals, thoughts and feelings. Session are never recorded and are completely confidential. With the exemption of calling 911 if you need are in danger and need immediate assistance. 3.- Please review my availability calendar and select a time to meet. Session are 45 minutes.

Susana Deltoro is Bilingual English/Spanish Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for providing the utmost quality of services. Susana graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. Susana completed her master’s graduate internship at Santa Maria Hostel in Houston Texas where her primary focus was Co-occurring disorder in Women and Families. She facilitated group therapy at both the intensive and outpatient level servicing clients and their families battling addiction and co-occurring disorders. Susana uses several therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Theory.
