Susana graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. Susana completed her master’s graduate internship at Santa Maria Hostel in Houston Texas where her primary focus was Co-occurring disorder in Women and Families. She facilitated group therapy at both the intensive and outpatient level servicing clients and their families battling addiction and co-occurring disorders. Susana uses several therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Theory.
