How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
Goals are are determined by my clients. You are the expert on you, While I am here to support and guide you, only you can know what you want to accomplish. The process to get there sometimes involve a deep dive into really recognizing what brought you in to see me. Let's talk about it.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is very much strengths base. I want you to see the strengths that you have even when you are going through a hard time. The storm wont last forever so in the mist of it together we will build you up.
What do you think is the biggest barrier today for people seeking care?
I think the biggest barrier to seeking care is fear. Fear of the unknown, Fear of strangers being in their business, Fear of the unexpected. While Therapy are all of those things, having someone to lean on unbiasedly can be the change that you need to get better. Your therapist wants to see you win just as much as you want to win.
