Work HistoryTekla has been fortunate to experience work in many different areas in the field of mental health with diverse age groups and cultures. Tekla is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Tekla brings both personal and professional experience to her work with clients. As a former IVF patient herself, she understands the process can be stressful and overwhelming. Going through IVF can feel like an all-consuming process. She believes that having a support system, such as therapy, can make things more manageable. Besides working with IVF clients, Tekla also treats a variety of other individual and couples mental health needs including, but not limited to; infertility, trying to conceive, post-partum depression, surrogacy, sperm/egg/embryo donation, anxiety, grief and miscarriage.
