Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist was driven by a desire to help people navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change. Early in my career, I saw how mental health struggles, trauma, addiction, and difficult life circumstances could impact individuals and families. I was inspired by the resilience people demonstrated when given the right support and tools.
Over time, I became passionate about helping others better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and build more fulfilling lives. What continues to motivate me is the opportunity to walk alongside clients during difficult seasons, helping them gain insight, overcome obstacles, and move toward the goals and relationships that matter most to them.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, while also providing honest feedback and practical tools to help you make progress. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, exploring difficult emotions, and working through challenges at your own pace.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, substance use, or life transitions, my goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and develop strategies that lead to meaningful and lasting change.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
I believe collaboration is an important part of providing quality care. When appropriate and with a client's consent, I work closely with primary care providers, psychiatrists, medication prescribers, school personnel, and other members of a client's support team to ensure care is coordinated and aligned with their goals. My goal is to help clients receive comprehensive support while maintaining open communication and continuity of care.
