What does a first session with you look like?

Our first session would be a combination of friendly conversation, gathering information about your background and identifying what brought you to therapy. The hope is to build a foundation for our therapeutic bond and the future sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I believe in treating everyone as a unique individual. My approach is holistic and Person Centered. My focus is to help my clients increase their self-awareness, understand their current challenges, and identify new ways to overcome them.

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

I think it would be fair for someone to know that I am open-minded and easy going. I want them to feel comfortable asking anything and expressing any concersns they may have while working with me. I love to laugh and spread joy, with hopes that it will brighten someone's day.

Work History

I have 27 years of experience working in the field of Behavioral Health. My career started shortly after I graduated from undergrad. My 25 years of services with New York City Health + Hospitals began in a substance abuse program, one of the largest in New York. My roles were as follows, Activity Therapist, Rehabilitation Counselor and lastly Addiction Program Administrator. The one common denominator in all the roles, was fulfilling my dream of helping others. I relocated and the next role was as a Clinical Supervisor. After two years, I finally decided I should start my private practice and here we are. I hope that you stop by and meet me.
