Education
Grand Canyon University, Master of Science, Master of Science in Professional Counseling, 2015
Work HistoryI spent years working in entertainment in Los Angeles after graduating from Hampton University with a degree in Media Management. The work was exciting, but something was missing. I realized I wanted to do work that changed people's lives. That realization led me to Grand Canyon University, where I earned my master's in professional counseling in 2015. Since then, I've focused on helping people break free from family trauma that's been shaping their choices for years. I've worked with homeless individuals, led professional development programs for women, and spent considerable time with youth who needed someone to believe in them. My work now centers on helping individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. I also support women through pregnancy, postpartum challenges, and major life transitions. I use CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-focused approaches depending on what you need. My background in diverse communities means I get that your story is shaped by more than just your individual choices because context matters, and I pay attention to that. If you’d like support, you can reach me through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976. You can also message me or use this link: https://bit.ly/3JQzitS (Copy and paste it into your browser).
