Education
Adler School of Professional Psychology, Doctorate of Psychology, 2013
Work HistoryI’m a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Ordained Minister, currently serving as a Suicide Prevention Telehealth Psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs. I was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where I developed a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges with compassion and purpose.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Chapman University in Orange, California, and went on to earn both my Master’s in Counseling Psychology (2008) and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (2013) from the Adler School of Professional Psychology (now Adler University) in Chicago.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide range of settings—from community mental health clinics and schools to the Department of Corrections. These experiences have allowed me to support children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse walks of life.
My approach to therapy integrates a Systems framework and the Transtheoretical Model of Change, while drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Problem-Solving Therapy. I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships, and I’m committed to creating a space where you can feel understood, empowered, and encouraged.
Every person I’ve worked with has contributed to my growth as a therapist and as a human being. It’s an honor to be part of your journey. If you’d like support, you can reach me through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976.
