What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

You can expect the sessions to be about deeply connecting with yourself by allowing emotions to come up. My approach to therapy is trauma-focused and relational. I will carefully help you to talk about underlying trauma to process your experiences. Many people tell me it is relieving and helpful rather than feeling overwhelmed and distraught.

Work History

In the past, I worked with parents with dependent children, going through separation and divorce, and navigating through challenging systems as well as other adult individuals with immigration experiences in the family, relationship challenges, and a history of sexual violence. With many of my clients I have worked with, I realized I was more drawn to individuals who had trauma in their life as the main source of distress. I started incorporating EMDR therapy, somatic and imagery approaches to bring healing.
