What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I work with Insight Therapy Solutions, a US-based teletherapy and mental health services provider offering online counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. At Insight Therapy Solutions, therapy is personalized to address both emotional concerns and practical challenges. My approach is client-centered, focused on providing strategies that promote lasting change and enhance overall well-being in a comfortable and supportive setting.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I became a therapist because I’ve always been passionate about learning people’s stories and understanding their experiences. Over time, this interest grew into a commitment to help others, particularly those dealing with trauma. Becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker was a natural step for me, and I pursued additional training in trauma care because it allows me to meet people where they’re at, providing support that is both compassionate and practical. My goal is to help individuals take that next step when they’re ready.
What does a first session with you look like?
At Insight Therapy Solutions, a typical first session begins with our free matchmaking consultation, which usually lasts about 15–30 minutes. During this call, a team member asks about your needs, goals, preferences, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy so they can connect you with a therapist who aligns well with you.
Once you’re matched with a therapist, your first actual therapy session is conducted through our secure online platform. In that initial appointment, your therapist will take time to learn about your background, what brought you to therapy, and what you’d like to focus on. Together you’ll begin discussing your goals, clarify what you want support with, and get a sense of how you’ll work together moving forward.
Every first session is tailored to your story and gives you space to both share your experience and ask any questions you have about the therapeutic process.

Education
University of Nevada, Reno, Master of Social Work, 2022 — A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides psychotherapy for individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. LCSWs are trained to deliver clinical therapy while considering the social and environmental factors that affect mental health. This training allows them to address emotional concerns alongside practical challenges that may influence treatment. Unlike some other mental health licenses, LCSWs complete extensive supervised clinical training and are qualified to provide ongoing psychotherapy, case coordination, and care planning when appropriate.
