Get To Know Me
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality is very introverted and observant. I am normally ambitious, analytical, and pragmatic, which can come across as cold to the uninitiated, but I assure you it's only my way of creating an organic and well-earned relationship with my client. When clients get to know me, they often find that I'm very caring and that comes out through my pragmatism. What you tell me is a problem for you, I take with seriousness and work very hard to help you find solutions. My colleagues have described me as "results-oriented". While I don't pressure my clients to "fix themselves", I do cultivate an environment of boundaries, open awareness, acceptance, and accountability.
To the astrology crowd, I'm a Capricorn Sun, Taurus Moon, and Virgo Rising.
To the Enneagram crowd, I'm a 6w5.
To the MBTI crowd, I'm an INFx. At times, I've tested as an INFJ and at others INFP!
What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
My biggest strength as a therapist is my ability to think critically. It is natural for me to see all sides of a situation, so thinking systemically and relationally comes very easy to me!
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is one that balances levity and seriousness, fun and work, flexibility and accountability. My intuition has been said to be very exacting and disarming, so it's good to know that my style of therapy will work at building up safety and trust while addressing core themes that cause pain in my clients' lives.

Work HistoryMy work experience in the mental health field started in 2017 when I interned at Southern Connecticut State University's Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic, where I would one day attend as a graduate student. I then worked at Fellowship Place as an Employment Specialist briefly before moving on to Continuum of Care, where I worked as a Community Support Assistant in the Young Adult Services program for four years. While earning my Masters in Family Therapy, I interned at Triangle Community Center. After graduating, I split my time working for Assured Peaceful Solutions and Coastal Connecticut Counseling.
