Work HistoryHi, I’m Alexandria, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and purpose. I provide a nonjudgmental and supportive space for clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. My path into therapy began with a personal connection. Growing up with a parent who struggled with addiction gave me an early understanding of emotional pain—and sparked a deep desire to support others through theirs. I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Florida State University and went on to receive my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals, including children in foster care, teens navigating identity and belonging, and adults working through trauma, substance use, and relationship struggles. These experiences have shaped my belief that there’s no one “right” way to heal—only the way that feels most authentic to you. In my practice, I take a person-centered and CBT-informed approach, blending empathy and honesty to help clients explore their emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and build confidence from within. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and space to grow at your own pace.
