What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
My goal is to help mitigate the stigma associated with mental health by emphasizing the importance of mental well-being and finding balance between the demands of athletics and daily life. In my previous roles, I have supported children, particularly those with ADHD, Autism, adjustment disorders, and trauma, along with adolescents, and adults. I have applied family systems theories to assist families facing high-risk mental health crises, such as hospitalization for self-injurious behaviors and suicide, eating disorders, intellectual disabilities, conduct disorder, and more. Beyond my passion for supporting athletes, my professional experience extends to areas including anxiety, oppression, trauma, grief, social skills, developmental concerns, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, and depression. I derive immense satisfaction from working with children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families, providing a warm, positive, and supportive environment to foster personal growth and overall well-being.

Work History
Utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques, my approach focuses on helping clients tap into their inherent strengths and fostering resources that bolster their progress. I am committed to delivering empathetic and attuned care, tailored to the unique needs of each client. I value the chance to assist clients in increasing self-awareness, enhancing insight, and honing their coping skills. Above all, I prioritize creating a secure and welcoming space for clients to express their thoughts, while helping them navigate complex thought processes through co-exploration and self-regulation techniques. My experience as a Division I student-athlete has influenced my emphasis on the mental health of athletes across all performance levels. Athletes frequently face substantial pressure to perform, both in competitive settings and life in general, which often leads to their mental health needs being unaddressed.
