Work HistoryI'm Alexis and I am proud to be a mental health clinician. I am experienced in working with every age group (age 4+) over the span of mental health concerns including clinical symptoms, relational distress, emotional disturbance, and behavioral adjustment. Additionally, I regularly serve couples in marriage counseling and families through family counseling/parenting support. Ideal clients are motivated for change, interested in exploring deep roots of present issues, and are willing to try what might be uncomfortable or new to take ownership of their health and become empowered to pursue TRUE healing and life transformation. I have worked in both church-based and clinical settings, observing people, learning about the diversity of mental health experiences, and studying how the lived experience adds to what has been studied and documented in text books. I am grateful to come to understand that the power of an individual's unique narrative is a key ingredient on the road to deep healing and a thriving life.
