What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
Counseling can sometimes be difficult, but when walking this path with me, you will not feel alone in the process.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
We are our happiest selves when we are moving in accordance to our authenticity even if it means doing hard things. Therapy is a partnership and I believe you have the inner wisdom to know what is best for you in your life. I am there to support and guide you through what we together identify as areas in need of evolution, healing, or balance.
What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
One of the key components to the therapeutic relationship is creating a safe space for the client to practice being more true to who they are in the ways they think, feel, and express themselves. I create this environment through being my authentic self in all of my interactions with my clients even if that means being vulnerable by showing that I'm not perfect, owning what I don't know, letting out my inner nerd, making bad jokes at weird times, and making space for being a human being.
