What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
As a therapist who’s been to therapy, I want to keep it real with you: therapy is hard work. It’s a lot of moving layers…the awkward beginning of telling a total stranger personal things about your life, the vulnerability of expressing emotions in a new space (maybe even for the very first time), the anger that can sneak up from sharing unresolved trauma, and the exhaustion from processing. But—it's so worth it. You’re worth it. The work you put in can lead to real change. That can look like a deeper understanding of yourself, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, more emotional clarity, or finding and claiming more peace. My role is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected to the life you want to live. That's exactly what inspires me to be in this profession. It's such an honor to be even the tiniest part of your journey.
