Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist is deeply personal. I grew up in a family shaped by intergenerational trauma, and over time I saw how unaddressed pain can affect individuals and entire families. My own recovery journey also gave me firsthand insight into how difficult — and how possible — real change can be.
Another major influence in my life was my aunt, who lived with schizophrenia. As someone who loved her deeply, I witnessed both her struggles and her humanity. Watching the ups and downs of her life gave me an early understanding of how complex mental health can be, and how important compassion and support are for both individuals and their families.
These experiences led me to this profession. They shaped my belief that people are far more than their diagnoses or their worst moments, and that with the right support, growth and recovery are always possible.

Work HistoryI’ve spent much of my career working with people navigating high levels of stress, pressure, and life transitions. My background includes years in addiction and mental health treatment programs, where I worked closely with individuals facing both substance use and emotional challenges. Through this work, I developed a strong focus on resilience, recovery, and helping people rebuild stability and purpose.
Today, I specialize in working with individuals who are used to performing at a high level—particularly athletes and veterans—who may be struggling with performance pressure, burnout, identity shifts, or the mental toll of demanding environments. My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on helping people strengthen focus, manage stress, and reconnect with the confidence and discipline that once helped them succeed.
Whether someone is working through recovery, performance blocks, or major life transitions, I focus on helping them regain clarity, direction, and control over their lives.
