Education
Silberman School of Social Work, Master of Social Work, Mental Health, 2009 — My degree focused on clinical practice with individuals, families, and groups, with a specialty in health and mental health. I graduated with honors.
Work HistoryPrior to starting my private practice, I began my career as a clinical social worker in community mental health clinics and addiction treatment centers throughout NYC. In these roles, I provided individual, group, and family therapy for individuals of all ages. For several years, I was the coordinator of a Women’s Health Initiative at a non-profit social service agency serving the entertainment community, where I co-created psychoeducational groups on improving wellbeing and happiness. I have been a guest lecturer at Hunter School of Social Work and Smith College and have published in several academic journals. I have been in private practice in NYC for more than a decade. I am also licensed as an out-of-state telehealth provider in the state of Florida, and will soon be licensed in NJ and Massachusetts.
