The first session consists of getting to know each other as therapist and client to build a positive therapeutic relationship. This can vary based on your general interests as well as the reasons that brought you to therapy. We will discuss what brought you into therapy while also discussing your interests. I also encourage you to ask me any questions you may have.
What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
My biggest strengths as a therapist is meeting my clients where they are at and always trying to find resources and further my knowledge to help my clients. From the first session, I start creating ideas to utilize in therapy that can help meet your goals.
