Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My own challenges with issues related to self-worth inspired my path to becoming a therapist. So, I understand the ways self-doubt and doubt in your relationships can be an annoying, confusing, and sometimes immobilizing load to bear. This is why I love supporting clients to understand themselves so they can confidently move forward, directing themselves as they desire - not based on their past or what others expect of them.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I work with adults online individually and in person for groups. I specialize in the use of EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, DBT, CBT, and or Solution Focused Brief Therapy for the unique needs of each client to address posttraumatic stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and anxiety symptoms that interfere with completing responsibilities or interests.
What does a first session with you look like?
Our first session together is about getting to know each other. We discuss your story to the extent you are comfortable and take things always at your pace. We will review current challenges, relevant life history, and desired future changes. My hope for you is to experience the lasting changes you desire in life. Let’s journey together in your next steps to be well. Complete the contact form at the following website to get started today and schedule an initial appointment: gracewell.clientsecure.me
