What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My own challenges with issues related to self-worth inspired my path to becoming a therapist. So, I understand the ways self-doubt in yourself and in your relationships can be an annoying, confusing, and sometimes immobilizing load to bear. This is why I love supporting women to understand themselves so they can confidently move forward, directing themselves as they desire - not based on their past or what others expect of them.
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality is a spectrum of validation of your experiences paired with action-based talk designed to challenge you to move you closer to the life you want. I love holding non-judgmental space for clients to put the pieces of the puzzle together and helping them to act on their newfound vision. I am a humorous person by nature, so to the extent that you're comfortable and when it is therapeutic, I will add humor to help you make sense of things more safely.
What does a first session with you look like?
Our first session together is about getting to know each other. We discuss your story to the extent you are comfortable and take things always at your pace. We will review current challenges, and relevant life history related to safety. I provide an overview of my client-therapist collaborative approach that is informed by a thorough understanding of trauma and wellness. It is important for me to understand what you expect of me as your therapist and to answer any questions you may have. We will honor this important aspect of the process. If we determine that we could work well together to help you meet your mental and emotional health goals, then we will schedule a follow-up session or I will, at your request, share alternative providers more aligned to support your needs.

Work History
WAITLIST FOR NEW CLIENTS 2-3 MONTHS (as of 05/01/2024) I've helped busy women harmonize their lives and heal from past traumas. I'll help you understand how past experiences may have shaped your current challenges and provide you with tools to overcome them. You'll learn to identify and express your needs without guilt, practice real rest, and find fulfillment through self-compassion and self-advocacy. I offer tools such as body awareness, perspective-taking, and self-compassion to help you overcome self-blame, shame, and unkind self-talk. After working together, women have shared with me that they were stronger than they thought, were less concerned about being “different”, and were more confident in their relationships. Schedule a free consultation today and make time for yourself to heal.
