Work HistoryOver the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with people in many different environments—homes, hospitals, offices, shelters, hospice programs, and with individuals affected by intimate partner violence. Each setting has shaped the way I support clients today. My work in homes taught me how important it is to meet people where they are, both physically and emotionally. Being welcomed into someone’s personal space showed me how to build trust, adapt quickly, and support people in ways that feel comfortable and natural for them. In hospital settings, I learned how to stay calm and steady during difficult or fast-moving situations. I spent a lot of time helping individuals and families navigate fear, uncertainty, and major life changes. Those experiences strengthened my ability to communicate clearly and provide grounding support even when things feel overwhelming. Working in an office environment helped me focus on creating a space where people could slow down and explore what they were going through without judgment. It was there that I refined my ability to listen deeply, identify what someone truly needs, and help them move forward in a steady, sustainable way. My time in shelters and with individuals experiencing intimate partner violence shaped some of my most meaningful skills. I learned how to support people who may feel unsafe, unheard, or unsure of what comes next. I became skilled at offering safety planning, empowerment, and connection—while always respecting each person’s pace and choices. Hospice work gave me a different kind of perspective. Walking alongside individuals and families near the end of life taught me about presence, compassion, and the importance of honoring a person’s story. It deepened my understanding of grief, transition, and the many ways people make meaning during difficult times. All of these experiences blend into the way I work today: calm, collaborative, trauma-aware, and focused on real human connection. My background allows me to support people facing many different challenges, always in a way that feels respectful, grounded, and tailored to what they need most
