What is your style/approach to therapy?

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with an eclectic treatment approach. This means that I use multiple treatment methods to individualize my practices to what you need. I believe that having a style that is always adapting and changing to the benefit of the individuality of each client is important, because you are unique and have unique needs. For some, therapy can be a lifelong journey that is focused on healing from past wounds and traumatic experiences. For others, therapy can mean inviting me into your life for a critical period of time when you need to get back to yourself after a difficult transition. No matter what therapy looks like for you, I’m here to be your guide and listening ear.

What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

I became a therapist, because I've been on the other side of the chair. I have had experiences with therapists in the past that were wonderful and helpful, and then I've had experiences where the therapist just isn't understanding me. Because of those experiences and research, I know that connection with a therapist is the most important piece of your therapy journey. I desire to connect with every client on a deep level, ensuring that they know that therapy is a safe space where I allow them to truly be themselves.

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

As a therapist, I’m passionate about helping people start their healing journey, grow in confidence, and find true inner peace. I love learning and am always looking for new ways to challenge myself and my clients. I’m committed to my own journey of learning and growth, so we’re in this together!

Work History

If you’re reading this, life might feel entirely overwhelming, and you’ve probably reached your limit of helping yourself feel better. Your past experiences, your current reality, and your current mental state have combined to create internal turmoil and suffering, which have made life difficult. You’ve more than likely tried at least three TikTok anxiety/depression hacks or every breathing exercise on the Calm app. Or, you’ve entirely avoided acknowledging how you’re feeling, allowed your emotions to build inside of you, and realized that you’re about to explode and you just need someone to help you. I'm here to be that person. In my professional life, I've worked with clients experiencing a large variety of issues, but I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma. My work experience has allowed me to successfully partner with many clients to help them find healing. Many clients come to me in a broken, hurting space and are often concerned about opening up to me. I understand, because when we are suffering, it can be hard to know how to find relief or peace. I truly believe that therapy is a tool to help you get to where you want to go. I also believe that having a style that is always adapting and changing to the benefit of the individuality of each client is important.
