In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
As a feminist therapist, mother, and advocate, I bring authenticity, vulnerability, and compassion to my practice. I am incredibly passionate about offering support to individuals as they work toward their desired goals and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I firmly believe in self-determination and autonomy meaning that while I can help you to process and navigate experiences, you get to decide the next steps.
I enjoy incorporating creative and artistic therapeutic approaches into my individual and group work. Therapy requires change that at times can be discomforting but I truly believe that transformation happens when we allow ourselves to lean into the process and do the work it takes to reclaim our stories, our boundaries, and ultimately our peace.
My overall goal is to create a braver space where we can engage in a powerful and meaningful therapeutic process. I craft conversations that spark courage and clarity. I empower you to regain control by prioritizing your health and aligning with your authentic self. Are you ready?

Work HistoryHowdy! My name is Dr. Amber Sutton and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have over 10 years of experience working with survivors of IPV and their families in many settings, including residential services, prevention education, the legal system, and as a telehealth provider. I am certified in the Danger Assessment, an evidence-based instrument that helps to determine the level of danger an abused woman has of being killed by her intimate partner. I have served as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) and as a Change Champion for the Family Sunshine Center. Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, boxing, weightlifting, reading, and organizing (I’m a fanatic).
