I am the owner and therapist of my private practice, where I provide psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and couples with various mental health and relationship challenges. I have over 8 years of clinical experience in different settings, such as higher levels of care, non-profit, university counseling centers, and outpatient. I am passionate about helping clients heal from trauma, eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety and perfectionism, using evidence-based and holistic approaches, such as EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, person-centered, Gottman Method, somatic body work, and sand tray. I am also a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Sam Houston State University, graduating in December 2023. I have 2 years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in various subjects of counseling, such as counseling skills, career counseling, introduction to helping professions, counseling theory, practicum and internship. I am a licensed supervisor in the state of Texas, with 3 years of experience supervising practicum students and LPC-Associates. My goal is to contribute to the counseling profession through speaking, research, teaching, and advocacy.
