What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Growing up in a culture where mental health was often stigmatized, I saw how difficult it could be for people to openly discuss their struggles or seek support. Those experiences inspired my passion for helping others feel seen and supported without fear of judgment. I came to understand that mental health impacts every part of our lives, including our physical well being, relationships, and sense of self.
Becoming a therapist felt like a meaningful way to help break down these barriers while also increasing access to mental health education and resources, especially in communities where these conversations may still feel difficult.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I use strengths based approaches, narrative therapy, and positive psychology to help clients shift focus toward their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, self esteem concerns, and interpersonal challenges.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in curiosity and compassion. Together, we can explore the experiences that have shaped your life, identify patterns, and develop new ways of moving forward that align with your values and goals. Therapy should be a space where you feel safe to reflect, grow, and build the tools needed for lasting change.

Work HistoryI have experience supporting individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities through life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth. During my internship at an OASAS run facility, I worked closely with clients as they navigated recovery, built healthier coping skills, and worked toward personal goals. This experience deepened my understanding of the therapeutic process and the importance of meeting each person with empathy and compassion.
Following my internship, I was drawn to private practice because it allows for a more personalized and collaborative approach to therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward meaningful change.
