What does success look like in therapy? How will a client know that they are making progress?
I see success reflected in my clients when they are moving closer to the things that are most important to them in their lives; their families, their friends, their hobbies, the things that bring them meaning and purpose. Success in therapy often looks like being less consumed by thoughts about the things that trouble us the most: worries about the future, our relationship to our bodies, our shame about the past. I believe therapy can offer us an opportunity to get curious about what’s not working for us and how to move closer to things we deem most important to us.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I help individuals who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, and disordered eating find freedom, clarity, and connection. Whether you're overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, constantly battling food rules, or disconnected from your body and values, you are not alone. Together, we can help you build a life driven by what truly matters to you; not fear, shame, or control. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, stuck in perfectionism, or exhausted from years of food and body shame, therapy can help you create space for a fuller, more meaningful life.
I approach therapy with the same non judgmental acceptance and compassion I want you to give yourself. In therapy you will learn to notice unhelpful thoughts, build a kinder relationship with your mind and body, and reconnect with your purpose beyond anxiety, worry, or food. I also incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion to support sustainable growth.
If you’re ready to stop struggling with your mind and start living, I’d love to work with you. Let’s help you turn down the volume on anxiety and step away from the mind/food/body battle, so you can return to yourself. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
