In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?

My life philosophy and treatment philosophy are deeply connected because both focus on holistic well-being, self-awareness, and empowerment. I don’t approach challenges—like anxiety—as problems to fix, but rather as opportunities to explore what’s happening beneath the surface. This mindset helps shape the way I work with clients. Just like I reflect on different aspects of my own life to support my well-being, I help clients look at areas like stress, sleep, nutrition, relationships, and daily habits to see how these might be impacting their mental health. I blend cognitive behavioral therapy to support the mind, mindfulness practices to help build self-awareness and connect with inner wisdom, and a strengths-focused approach to empower my clients. At the core of everything I do is the belief that people have the tools within them to create meaningful change. My role is to guide them in connecting with those tools, helping them feel more balanced, grounded, and in charge of their lives.

Work History

My expertise has been shaped by working with people across all walks of life in diverse settings—hospitals, community programs, residential facilities, and private practice. I’ve supported clients facing anxiety, panic, and trauma, as well as those navigating serious medical challenges, end-of-life decisions, and everyday stressors. Along the way, I’ve honed skills in evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, while also tailoring holistic approaches that consider lifestyle, relationships, and personal strengths. Whether leading therapy groups, guiding clients through crisis moments, or empowering individuals to make meaningful changes, I’ve always focused on creating a compassionate, collaborative space where growth feels achievable and life feels more balanced.
