In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
As a therapist who’s walked through my own grief, culture shifts, and the complexities of supporting neurodiverse loved ones, I don’t just see symptoms—I see stories, survival, and strength. My work is rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and the deep belief that growth is always possible—on your terms. I believe that healing isn’t about perfection; it’s about embracing your unique journey with all its challenges and triumphs. With experience working with diverse populations, including lower-income families, individuals recently released from jail, those experiencing homelessness, and dual diagnosis clients, I offer compassionate support in overcoming complex challenges. My approach is centered on meeting clients where they are, helping them find stability, healing, and growth through a lens of cultural awareness, resilience, and understanding. Together, we’ll uncover your inner strength and work toward lasting change in a way that feels authentic to you
In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?
My life philosophy and treatment philosophy are deeply connected, both rooted in the belief that struggles aren’t signs of weakness, but evidence of strength. I believe healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken; it’s about uncovering the powerful, resilient version of yourself that’s always been there. In therapy, I help you tap into that inner strength, guiding you to recognize and embrace your resilience as we work through challenges together.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and deeply rooted in empathy. I see therapy as a partnership where your voice is always at the forefront. I focus on building trust and creating a safe space where you can be open and authentic without judgment. By integrating techniques from various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed practices, I tailor each session to meet your specific needs. Whether we’re navigating past trauma, tackling daily stress, or exploring your identity, my goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with the tools you need to thrive.

Education
Brigham Young University, Master of Social Work, Clinical Social Work, 2024
I earned my Master of Social Work from Brigham Young University, graduating with a 3.93 GPA and a clinical focus on trauma-informed care. My training included inpatient experience at the Utah State Hospital, where I supported children and adolescents with acute psychiatric needs, and outpatient clinical work at Wasatch Behavioral Health, where I worked with individuals and families facing a wide range of mental health diagnoses. This included depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral challenges across the lifespan.
Brigham Young Univerity, Bachelor of Science, Psychology Degree, and Family Life Minor, 2021
Completed a B.S. in Psychology with a Family Life minor, earning academic scholarships and Dean’s List honors (2020, 2021). Served as President of the First-Generation College Student Association and worked as a teaching assistant in both psychology and interdisciplinary courses. As a research assistant, contributed to qualitative and quantitative studies on topics such as media consumption, mental health, diversity, and social justice. Responsibilities included hypothesis development, data collection, and statistical analysis using Stata and Microsoft Office.
Work History
I’ve worked with individuals and families in therapy and social service settings, helping people manage stress, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on creating a space where you can feel heard and supported. In addition to providing therapy, I’ve done case management work—helping clients access important resources like housing, healthcare, and financial support. I’ve also partnered with nonprofit organizations to provide community education on mental health and wellness, which deepened my passion for making support more accessible and stigma-free. Whether we’re processing past experiences, building coping skills, or navigating day-to-day stress, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and care.
